Every Gift Opens a Door
Popular Ways to Give
A recurring gift made monthly or quarterly is automatically charged to a credit card or transferred from a bank account and can be adjusted or suspended at any time. No matter the amount, your recurring donation profoundly impacts us: knowing we can count on it helps us prepare for emergencies or crises.
You can increase, decrease, or suspend your gift at any time by calling 301-315-1107 or emailing development@iworksmc.org.

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Donations
Make a gift to Interfaith Works through your donor-advised fund. Please provide your fund manager with our EIN (52-1072684) and legally registered name, Interfaith Works.
If you have an account with any of these charitable organizations, you can make a donation today by clicking on your financial institution.
Donate Stocks and Mutual Funds
Stocks and securities that have increased in value and have been held for at least a year and a day can be deducted as charitable contributions at full market value when transferred to a charity/nonprofit such as Interfaith Works. For tax purposes, the date of transfer applies. Your stock transfer must be made directly to Interfaith Works to qualify as a charitable contribution. Please contact Teri Blandon at tblandon@iworksmc.org for instructions.
Give from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are 70½ years or older, you can make annual distributions of up to $108,000 (per individual) in qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from your IRA. Your gift also counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) depending on your age. Note that even though the SECURE Act raised the RMD age to 73 (74, if you reached age 73 after December 31, 2024), the QCD age remains 70½, so QCDs can be used for charitable giving even before RMDs begin. To take advantage of this provision, your IRA administrator must issue a check directly to Interfaith Works.

Your gift helps build a Montgomery County where every neighbor has the opportunity to live with dignity, grow, and thrive.
