Farewell, Interfaith Works - A Message From the CEO
Dear Friends,
As I reflect on the past five years at Interfaith Works, I find myself returning again and again to a deep sense of gratitude for our community and for all that we have built together.
It has been a true privilege to be part of this work alongside our dedicated staff, committed partners, passionate volunteers, and all our generous supporters, who make this difficult work possible. Through moments of uncertainty and challenge, we have remained rooted in a shared purpose: supporting our neighbors on their path to stability.
I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together. We have expanded access to essential services, strengthened partnerships across Montgomery County, and responded to the evolving needs of our neighbors with care and urgency. Our work has always been grounded in compassion, dignity, and the belief that making a lasting impact is possible when we move forward together.
What I will carry with me most is how you have shown up. Time and again, I have witnessed people coming together to meet the needs of others – especially those facing the greatest barriers. That commitment is what has made Interfaith Works so essential to this community.
These are difficult times, and the road ahead will not be easy for many of our neighbors. The foundation is strong, the mission is clear, and this community continues to show what is possible when we come together with purpose and compassion. That work remains critical, and I know that our strong team, which includes you, will continue to demonstrate the same care, determination, and collective spirit that has defined Interfaith Works for so many years.
Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your belief in this vital work. It has meant more than I can fully express to be part of this chapter of Interfaith Works’ story.
With gratitude,
Courtney Hall, CEO
