Ten years ago, Becky’s House was founded to provide a safe living environment for chronically homeless, senior women who found it difficult to get around within the traditional shelter environment.
Today, this unique program is home to eight senior women, providing 24-hour oversight while implementing individual service plans for residents, including goals to improve residents’ overall health. The program originally was named Welcome Homes, and was re-named to honor long-time Interfaith Works Executive Director Becky Wagner.
