Courtney Hall

Chief Executive Officer

Courtney Hall joined Interfaith Works as Chief Executive Officer in November 2020 following 17 years of service in the public and nonprofit sectors. Most recently he has been the Vice President at Housing Up in Washington DC, where he led the provision of affordable housing and supportive services to more than 700 homeless individuals and at-risk households.  Prior to his Housing Up experience, Courtney served as a Child Welfare leader in DC and Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Social Work from Oakwood University in Alabama, a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama, and holds a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University.

Teri Blandon

Director of Development

Teri has twenty years of experience in fundraising for nonprofits, including ten years at public broadcaster WETA TV/FM and most recently with PAI, which advocates for international sexual and reproductive health and rights for women, girls and other vulnerable groups. Teri received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and her Master of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and also earned the Grant Professional Certification (GPC).

Rev. Dr. Rosetta Robinson

Director of Faith & Community Partnerships

Rev. Dr. Rosetta Robinson oversees the Emergency Assistance Coalition. Rosetta has her Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary, Master of Divinity from Howard University (ordained November 1995), MS degree in education (community service) from Cornell University, and BS in social studies education from New York University. She has worked at Interfaith Works since October 1995.

Betsy Cheakalos

Director of Family Services

Betsy Cheakalos oversees Interfaith Works’ Family Services Programs and the Interfaith Clothing Center. Betsy, who has been with Interfaith Works for over 20 years, brings a wealth of social service outreach experience to IW.

Gerard Etienne

Director of Vocational Services

Gerard Etienne first started at Interfaith Works as a volunteer for the Vocational Services Program (VSP) in 2013. He quickly developed a passion for working with VSP clients, helping them resume preparation, job searching, and interviewing skills. Gerard also served on IW’s Board of Directors for two years. Prior to being appointed Director of the VSP in January 2020, Gerard’s career spanned engineering and business consulting. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he earned an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA.
