Interfaith Works is proud to be a member of the Montgomery County’s Interagency Commission on Homelessness (ICH), which acts on behalf of Montgomery County residents experiencing homelessness and is working to achieve an end to chronic homelessness by the end of 2017. We invite you to take part in a June 7 Community Memorial Service hosted by the ICH to honor the memory of those in our community who died in 2016 and 2017 after having experienced homelessness. All community members are invited to attend. A flyer that includes details about the event is here.
All faith leaders present at the memorial service will be invited to come up and stand with Rev. Mansfield Kaseman, Montgomery County Interfaith Community Liaison, as he offers an invocation at the beginning of the service. If you plan to attend the event, please RSVP to HomelessMemorial@montgomerycountymd.gov. If you are a faith leader, please indicate that and your affiliation when you RSVP.
