Brand New Name, Same Great Mission:
Community Ministry of Montgomery County becomes Interfaith Works.
Interfaith Works is a non-sectarian interfaith coalition of more than 140 member and affiliated congregations representing over 65,000 families of many faiths, working together to meet the needs of the poor in Montgomery County, Maryland.

We are an independent, private 501c3 agency, founded in 1968 by congregations interested in joining forces to lend a hand to vulnerable neighbors.

Last year, with the help of over 7,000 volunteers, more than 33,000 men, women and children received assistance at our doors through a broad array of direct service programs serving homeless and low-income residents of Montgomery County, Maryland.
