Interfaith Works Empowerment Center (formerly Community Vision) at Progress Place is a day program and outreach program for adults experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County. At the Center, Interfaith Works provides access to basic needs (such as food, laundry and shower facilities), case management services and a full calendar of recreational and therapeutic groups (see calendar below).

Interfaith Works’ case management team provides clinical assessments and referrals for housing, behavioral health treatment, benefits and a variety of needs. In the winter, the Center provides seasonal emergency shelter. It is also one of the locations in which the Vocational Services program operates. (Please see Vocational Services page for details.)

The location also is the site of 21 new individual residential units serving men and women who have experienced homelessness. That program is Interfaith Works Residences.
