At Interfaith Works, the answer to this question is: with the help of hard-working volunteers who are generous with their time and knowledge, and donations from some local businesses.
A team from Potomac Presbyterian Church worked together with some of our Interfaith Housing Coalition families to set up a vegetable garden. And the Master Gardeners of Montgomery County teamed with residents of our women’s shelter to plant flowers in planter boxes and raised beds. Home Depot donated the potting soil, mulch and a gift card to purchase the plants. Good Earth Garden Center in Potomac has donated a gift card to purchase additional plants.
