HOLIDAY GIVING 2018

Every year Interfaith Works provides holiday gifts and food for hundreds of our clients. This year we have committed to serving at least 200 additional families through participation in the Holiday Giving Project of Montgomery County for the December holidays. We need your help to make the holidays possible for those we serve!

How You Can Give:Gift

  • Make a donation to our organization at iworksmc.org
  • Donate items needed for our Community Holiday Gift Project:
    • Gift cards ($10 – $25) for presents to Target, Kmart, Kohls, iTunes,
      Walmart,
    • Loaded SmarTrip cards ($5 – $15)
      Gift cards ($25 – $50) for food such as Giant, Safeway, Target
    • Unwrapped toys for children 12 years and younger
    • Holiday cards and stamps
    • Gift wrap
  • Fill a shoebox or donate items for our Holiday Shoebox Project
    • Empty shoeboxes
      Target, Walmart, or SmarTrip cards ($5 – $15)
    • A pair of new socks (men’s or women’s)
    • Unopened hotel/travel sized toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, lotion, non-alcoholic hand sanitizer, non-alcoholic mouthwash, shaving cream, razors, lip balm, deodorant
    • Pocket calendars, notebooks, pens
    • Snacks such as candy, granola bars, crackers (nut-free and not alcohol-filled)
    • Select “Interfaith Works – Rockville, MD” on your next order on AmazonSmile
    • Add an item from our Amazon Wish List to your next order
    • Sponsor a drive for winter clothing, toys, food, toiletries, and/or home goods
    • Volunteer with us
  • Adopt an individual living at Interfaith Works Residences at Progress Place for the December Holidays. The Residences are home to 21 formerly homeless individuals. Wish lists will be provided.
