Interfaith Works staff and volunteers joined community leaders and other volunteers on Jan. 25 and 26 to fan out across Montgomery County to survey people experiencing homelessness. The Point In Time survey occurs nationally and provides crucial data on how communities are address homelessness, and also drives policy and funding decisions. Last year’s count found that 981 people are experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County. This year’s results will be available in late spring.
